Attending Morning Assembly; A Nostaligic overview

Attending morning assembly in the college where i teach takes me down my memory lane. In retrospect, it gives a sense of nostalgia of my student days .

Today, My students sang"Vande matram", which was absolutely mesmerizing and of course was a break from the regular Bhajan.

The best part of today's morning assembly was 'The news reading', which was beautifully done by a first year student Krutidipan. Iwould like to congratulate Krutidipan for such an initiative.and I hope with each passing day, the morning assembly will be more brighter and meaningful

Here we go..

Hi.

I have been wondering since long to get in to this blogging lineage though i have already cast my foot mark by getting involved in many online 'Public forums' and 'Social networking sites' over the years. Of late, I realized that much cannot be shared in social networking sites which have got its own element of distraction (like game, instant messaging, photo comments, counter comments and counter comments-comments and the list gos on, LOLz ).

In that case, "Blog", i thought can be an alternative medium to share thoughts and ideas with out or with minimum interruption.

So, here i look forward to have a natter (not to be misunderstood with cliche type, serious, didactic conversation, LOL ) with fellow friends, colleagues and students about innovative ideas and possibilities unexplored till date.

Point of discussion may vary from movies, books, latest trends, life style to serious issues like innovative teaching techniques, latest trends in computing and social responsibility etc. (as a teacher of communication i would be much interested in cutting edge teaching methodologies and innovations in the same field.)

And above all, I welcome all sorts of open suggestions to improve things at different levels (either communication skills or interpersonal skills or just keeping in touch with people and gelling to each other.)

I once again welcome you all with open arms and hopefully this will bring possibilities for all of us.
